Leaders divided over Prince George's Co. bill that would pause townhouse construction

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — With townhome projects going up across Prince George’s, County Council Vice Chair Wala Blegay wants to hit the brakes on new projects.

With the support of a majority on the Council, Blegay is pushing through bills that enact a two-year moratorium on townhouse construction anywhere but in transit-oriented development.
